Civil Lawsuit – A lawsuit led to in courtroom when one particular person claims to have suffered a loss because of the actions of another individual. Binding Precedent – A rule or precept established by a court, which different courts are obligated to observe. One potential protection against a Loper Bright challenge is that Congress adopted the term on the heart of the rule, “non-quantitative remedy limitations,†in the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021.
